Like the first version of 101 KS1 English Grammar SAT Revision Worksheets (https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/101-ks1-grammar-sats-revision-worksheets-11189210), it is packed with 101 printable worksheets for teaching and improving grammar skills in English. The topics are wide and varied, starting with Essential English worksheets that cover the basics, like the alphabet, days, months, and telling the time; then tenses (a lot about tenses!), then irregular verbs, question forms, word order in sentences, parts of English, uncountable nouns, and so on! If you have used the first BGB, you will know what to expect from this one. Around 25% of the worksheets in this book are closely modelled on activities in BGB 1, for example Full Stops 1 (pp.68-69).
The material starts off at beginner level, with the alphabet worksheets, then gets progressively more difficult. Only towards the end do things get “tougher”, with articles, conditionals, and phrasal verbs making their inevitable appearance! Don’t worry – all the answers and notes for use are included at the back of this book.
English teachers can use Another 101 KS1 English Grammar SAT Revision Worksheets in class, although it may be better to use the worksheets for homework and let students focus on speaking and listening and group work – producing language – in class. It is ideal for private study – i.e. homework or self-study – and also for use in online lessons. Teachers can adapt the worksheets in this book, and I would positively encourage them to treat many of the pages as templates for producing their own activities. For example, the sentence building worksheets (from p.60) would be ideal for adaptation, among many others.
I hope you enjoy learning English with Another 101 KS1 English Grammar SAT Revision Worksheets!
Remember, a good understanding of English grammar will open doors of opportunity.
Please note: This was originally marketed under the title Big Grammar Book 2. If you have bought this title, you do not need to buy this book.
It’s jam-packed from cover to cover with a great selection of photocopiable worksheets. We wanted to provide teachers with a really useful book of no-nonsense grammar worksheets that they can dip into and use in a typical KS1 class.
Don't forget to also check out book 2 in the series (https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/101-ks1-english-grammar-sat-revision-worksheets-book-2-11189219)
It is also ideal for students to work with at home since the answers are all printed at the back.
The book is divided into four parts and is graded in difficulty, so that it begins with some basic stuff and builds up to more challenging grammar activities. It features a selection of Essential English worksheets which provide practice for crucial basic areas of knowledge for learners at Entry Level, like using numbers, writing the alphabet, spelling days and months correctly, and so on.
If you have already bought this book under the name of "Big Grammar Book 1" then this is a remarketed version and you have already bought it.
My first reading pack (https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/10-free-reading-posters-for-every-key-stage-2-or-key-stage-3-classroom-download-and-share-today-11173701) has proved to be very popular. I thought I would extend it to also include the Keystage 1 classes. You can also click on the on the little heart on this page to say you like it. Also please leave me a nice comment - it is the nice comments which fuel my motivation to create even more of these fun FREE posters. These posters would be perfect for book week, English Literacy Week, Poetry day or simply as a way of getting children to read more.
Look at the posters and get the children to vote on which posters they find effective. Which were less effective? How could they be improved? I would love to know the students feedback below please!
*Spelling mistake corrected - thanks for the comment below!
I have created 15 anti-war slogan posters which teachers are free to use, discuss and share in their classrooms. They are a great way for launching and supporting classroom discussions. Why do people go to war? Is there such a thing as a just war? Is there always a solution which does not involve violence?
If you like these posters, please take the time to leave a nice comment, share and distribute these resources to others. You can also click the little heart to be informed of all the future teaching resources I make and upload.
I have now added a second set of reading posters to join these for Keystage 1 and Keystage 2 students: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/10-free-motivational-reading-posters-for-the-keystage-1-to-keystage-2-classrooms-share-them-today-11174534. Please like them too!
My recent poster offering have been well received.... so I thought I would now create and offer some FREE reading posters for the classrooms. If you want to check out my other free poster packs - try these...

I want to offer posters which motivate and inspire students, while being catchy and easy to show in any classroom environment. Please leave a nice comment below.
As my Anti-bullying posters (https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/10-free-anti-bullying-week-posters-for-every-classroom-download-and-share-today-11168376) proved so popular, I thought I would continue the series and create a set of motivational maths posters. You could add them to the classroom or all around the school. The would make an excellent resource for International Mathematics day, Pi day or any other numeracy day.
If you like these resources, please click the heart on this page to get informed of when I upload my next set of FREE poster resources.
Please also take the time to say something nice about these resources as you can imagine, they take a long time to make and nice comments motivate me to make more of them!
I created a huge set of teaching resources for getting students to speak in English and still have fun. This set of resources above provides an ESL teacher with approximately 1000 hours of teaching resources. I have added lots of motivational pictures and made the process as simple as I can. The resource starts with the simplest, elementary English and works up to much more complex intermediate English.

Holidays English Language
I have been asked to think about Thanksgiving. I saw very little which excited me on TES and so I thought I would create and share 10 nice posters about being thankful. All I ask in return is that you click the little blue heart further down the page and follow me, so I can let you know when I create my next set of free topical posters. They would also be great for any time you need to teach about being thankful or for harvest festival.
If you like what you see here - please leave a lovely comment - as comments make what I do worthwhile.
After the Paris terrorist attack, good advice came out from homeland security on what to do if you face an attack. However it was focused on adults and not child friendly. I thought I would create a simple book which explains to children what is now recommended in the case of an active shooter attack. You should however still point out that this is an incredibly unlikely event - but one students now need to be prepared for.

Can you spot the mistake in the text below?
What’s the chances of a manned mission to Mars?
It could be a problem with apostrophes or a missing article, or maybe it just doesn’t
make sense. It could be there’s a punctuation mark missing or a spelling mistake, or
perhaps the words used don’t agree – the verb is singular but the noun is plural …
What do you think? Not sure? You need this book!
Inside you will find 60 examples of incorrect English, including the one above,
adapted from genuine mistakes published in newspaper and magazine articles,
advertisements, websites, and leaflets. Each example has one mistake. Your task is
to find it and say what kind of mistake it is – then write the corrected version.
In the process you will improve your written English by learning to identify the common
mistakes that professional writers make and that professional editors and proofreaders
miss.
We all need to write to communicate with others. This book shows you how to
improve your written English by avoiding the mistakes that the professionals make.
ALSO INCLUDES OUR EXCLUSIVE A-Z OF ENGLISH GRAMMAR WORDS!
This version of the book has an improved reading format and packed full of colourful photos and images to further amuse and motivate students!

Calling all Active English Learners . . . !
Welcome to the English big activity book . The aim this time is to engage learners from about Level 1 (Intermediate) upwards in active English lessons. This extensive new collection provides a varied and interesting set of resources for practising a range of English language skills, from grammar to reading, and vocabulary building to developing research skills.
It’s divided into subject areas and there is a comprehensive answer section, which also gives notes for how to use the material. We have included two special sections towards the back of the book. The first is a collection of classroom games that have been tried and tested and really work. Some may be familiar while others are totally original. In publishing descriptions of these games and activities we are not in any way laying claim to having invented them. Our only aim is to disseminate ideas that work well at a range of levels and always seem to get a great response from learners.
The second special section is for reference and lists rhyming words, using the vowels and diphthongs from the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). These pages provide support for learners as they come to identify spelling patterns and match together words with the sounds of English. However you use the book, we hope that you’ll enjoy learning English and come to a deeper understanding and appreciation of this fabulous language – which can be so entirely frustrating at times and so difficult to learn!
Hope you really enjoy this book.
